Based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the illustrator and lettering artist is known for work that’s full of meaning, whether it’s his Pride sticker set for Snapchat or slogans for Ru Paul’s Drag Race.

Known as Lebassis on Instagram, Leandro started out working
for advertising agencies before setting up his own studio. 

Here Leandro tells us about the relationship between his handwriting and identity, creative life in Rio de Janeiro
and why he embraces his mistakes.
