Otožno by Rebecca Buchanan is part of a series of 3 poetry comics, where the comic and poem combined is an essence of the meaning of its title. The title of each comic doesn’t have a direct translation to English but on the back of the comics is a rough definition, each one dealing with themes of emotion, nostalgia and melancholy. Using abstract and ambiguous imagery to compliment the writing leaves the comics up for the reader to decode and form their own interpretation.
