Neighbourhood Store x Art Babies - Saturday 27th July 2024

On Saturday 27th July Art Babies will visit Shoreham for a mini-residency in the wonderful Neighbourhood Store.

From 10am-4pm jdwoof and stevexoh will be doing a number of things including custom pet portraits (for any creature - in person or from a photo), custom tiny creature tiles, painting a big window mural and more.

There will also be a wide range of Art Babies related stuff on sale including limited prints, greetings cards, books, original art and t-shirts.

You can also take part in the Art Babies Shoreham Creature trail which involves finding x 10 custom painted tiles hidden between the Neighbourhood Store and the beach.

Find all 10 and win a little prize.

Art Babies is a collaboration between stevexoh and jdwoof, two self taught artists who have found they like to do things together. Projects have included a solstice-themed 12 hour radio station (and then podcast), a talk at a festival, a community mural, a residency in a forest in Scotland, finding bits of wood, painting them and installing pop up art galleries and a month-long art residency on a remote island in the US.They find humans simultaneously fascinating and challenging and creatures much easier company. However, they find art can be a way to connect them to both humans, creatures and themselves.
