Soft wool textures, bright colours and childlike imagery convey the taunting balance between the playfulness of visual communications, yet speaking about heavier subject matters. Alongside the sculptures and wall art, she uses social media to ask questions of others about their own pros and cons with dating and the digital pressures around dating apps, as well as opening up a community space to talk about the general public and their mental health needs.
Cheverall uses humour to redirect the reality of overthought scenarios, and as medium to reveal unexpected dating stories and life events.
