'I’m Will, a jewellery designer based in Leeds. I graduated with a first class (BA Hons) in Silversmithing and Jewellery Design from the Glasgow School of Art in 2019, I went on to exhibit nationally and internationally at several contemporary jewellery exhibitions and was the recipient of the New Designers Hallmark Studios Award 2019. I have since focused on building my brand Will Sharp Jewellery, I took the leap and went full time with my business less than 12 months ago, it’s given me the chance to stock my work in locations across the UK including The Hepworth Gallery, Wakefield and The Baltic Centre For Contemporary Art, Gateshead and to take part in regular makers fairs across the UK.
I love all things Mid-Century; this has a huge influence on my work. I create designs that are minimalist with a splash of colour. The pieces are made for everyday wear, lightweight, comfortable and durable. The jewellery is 3D printed and hand finished using PLA, a plant-based bio plastic and recycled silver.'
